About Us

Welcome to the Ontario Police Museum. This is the best kept secret to experiencing a walk into photos and artifacts of bygone years will show the mule drawn transit up Euclid Boulevard when it was a dirt road with wood sidewalks. The police officers had no radios for communication and used “clackers” to summon assistance of other foot patrol officers.

The tour will show the original jail cell, early lie detector equipment, dispatcher and phone panels along with ancient typewriters, call boxes, the first SWAT equipment and much more. Children are welcome to visit and sit on the motorcycle or venture into a police cruiser.

The Museum honors those who have sacrificed their life in serving to keep Ontario safe.

The tour is free. We do request a donation be made to support the work of maintaining and enriching your experience of visiting and getting a feel for what it was like to protect citizens in the days gone by.
