Collector Shows

An annual collectors show is sponsored by the California Law Enforcment Historical Society, generally in the central part of the State. Members are frequently in attendance at all of the shows within California and often throughout the country.

Historian of the Year

One member is selected annually as the Historian of the Year. The honoree is nominated by the membership and recognized for their exemplary work in preserving the history of the law enforcement profession.

Archives Collection

The Historical Society continues to increase its archives and artifact collection for preservation and research. In the near future these holdings are expected to be viewable on line to members for their research, illustration and education.

Police Museum

One goal of the Society was to construct a traveling police museum for exhibition at a variety of venues throughout California.

This goal was met in 2007 and has been shared with many thousands of visitors from Los Angeles to Sacramento. The exhibits within the museum continue to grow and change thanks to the generosity of our members supporters.

Ontario Police Museum

The museum was established primarily as a vehicle to teach children respect for the law. There is no charge for entry; our operating funds come from donations from people like you.
